2012 Calendar Mark your calendars! The 2012 schedule of neighborhood events is as follows:
The Sunnyvale SNAP (Sunnyvale Neighborhoods Actively Prepare) organization is making a special effort to organize all SNAP trained individuals throughout the city to better disseminate information and serve the community. SNAP has several projects in the works at differing stages that they plan to roll out. The first is a training program to teach people how to set up and organize SNAP in their own neighborhoods.
Robert Locke is the SNAP Liaison Officer to the Neighborhood Associations. He will be contacting Cherryhill Neighborhood Associaton to get us involved. Our neighborhood is within SNAP district 3 and SNAP will be concentrating their efforts in District 3 first. If you would like to become involved contact Kyle Welch or Wayne Amacher. We hope to designate a person as the Cherryhill Point of Contact (POC) soon.
Please send in your ideas about what you think your neighborhood association should be doing. New blood and new ideas are vital. Contact Kyle Welch or Wayne Amacher.
The more people we inolve in our activities, the stronger our neighborhood association will be. If you would like to get out a little, have some fun, meet your neighbors, and do good things please volunteer. You can design your own project if you wish, just let us know what you would like to do. To volunteer, contact Kyle Welch. We need volunteers for:
The 2012 Cherryhill Neighborhood Association officers elected at the 2011 Fall Mixer are listed below. New Officers took office on January 1, 2012.
The board has decided to add as many Members-at-Large as convenient. Members-at-Large are voting members of the board, help plan activities, and groom themselves to become future neighborhood officers ("new blood"). Anyone who would like to participate actively in the association is welcome to volunteer as a Member-at Large. Contact Kyle Welch or Wayne Amacher.
